The Klui C or Klui (flute) with the C Key is a specially created Thai flute with the C pitch intended for playing in the western musical ensembles. The Klui C generally consists of the Paak Nok-Gaew (the beak of the parrot), the Daak (peg), the finger holes, the hole for finger support (Roo Niw-kam—รูนิ้วค้ำ), the tuning hole and the holes through which the cord is treaded (Roo Roi-cheuak—รูร้อยเชือก). The Klui C is similar to the Klui Piang-aw (the Klui used in the string and Mahori ensembles), only the sizes of the holes and the gaps between the holes are different.
The tube (Lao) of the Klui C is made of various kinds of wood such as rosewood, ebony tree wood, the Payaa Ngiw-Dam tree wood (ไม้พญางิ้วดำ), as well as the plastic tube.
